What do YOU think?

Your 10-year-old daughter gets into your car after school, bawling her eyes out because she got a 'C' on her report card. This same 10-year-old daughter, who has always worked hard to get and keep very good grades... always a straight-A student. Well what in the world happened? Did she not turn in an assignment? Did she do bad on a test? Actually no. Turns out there was some other students that decided to blow-off their tests...didn't turn in any assignments. But the teacher figured that to "be fair" to those other students, they would take points away from your straight-A daughter, because she has plenty of good grades...She can afford it, right? She's got plenty of A's to get into college, but these other students don't... so the teacher wants to "help them along" in this way.

Now you tell me... is this fair? Comments, please....and if you haven't figured it out yet, I'll explain it later after getting comments.

I have figured it out, so I won't say anything - so others can get it.

That's a bunch of bullshit. She should get and KEEP the grade she has worked for and earned. If I found that out about one of my kids, I would call the school district and schedule a meeting. If they did nothing, I would find another way to fight it ... take it to the state, take it to congress. I don't care what it would take ... I'd get it resolved and keep it from happening again.

I would be down there beating down that teachers door first thing the next morning before class started.

This is an American character flaw. We each need to take responsibility for our actions and teach our children the same. There is a consiquence to every action and no better time to learn that than in school. I would advocate for my child for the grade earned to be in place and not settle for anything less.

Hmm, irony or coincidence that this happened the day after DEMOCRATS are elected to rule our country? This is bullshit, but it appears that America is all about sharing the wealth, be it economic or educational?
